oxonpaths is a project to walk or run all the paths of Oxfordshire and to provide web pages documenting the paths.
By path, I mean a public right of way. But I'll have to walk/run other highways to get to these paths. Below wasted is used to describe these additional bits!
Oxfordshire County Council say there are 2600 miles of paths. So far I've done 632 miles. That's 24.3%. There's a long way to go!
These paths were trod from October 6th 2010 to December 12th 2011 (47 days ago). At this rate, I'll finish on February 26th 2016!

To make the downloading faster, I've divided Oxfordshire into several maps each of which are 10K by 10K.

Alternatively, you can use the following form if you wish to see the paths I've trod that are near to a particular place.
Just type in the name of the place, e.g. South Stoke, into the box and click the search for place button.
You'll then be presented with a new web page allowing you to display a map
for any of the places whose name matches what you've typed.
You don't have to type in all of the name and the searching doesn't worry about capital letters.
So, for example, you could use stok and it would find any place that has stok as part of its name.

Here are some thoughts about future work:
         produce maps of walks from one village to another and back (especially if the villages have pubs!);
         produce maps for each parish like those produced by Eynsham Parish Council: see the three maps linked from Eynsham's Footpaths & Rights of Way web page;
         produce maps of the long distance paths and walks alongside the major rivers.
